Lil Zane

We start off the 2Pac soundalike list with someone who used to call himself “Baby 2Pac”. Now, there are some rappers on this list whose voice sounded more like 2Pac’s, but no one on this list was able to recreate 2Pac’s flow as Lil’ Zane did. Zane claimed to have met Pac as a teenager and names him as his biggest influence growing up. Zane did have a handful of albums released, and even a few singles that charted, but he is about 75 million album sales short of a real comparison. Interestingly enough, even today Lil’ Zane is still getting interviews and getting asked questions on sounding like 2Pac.
Krazy

You may not have heard of this guy before, but for those of you who don’t know or remember, Krazy was a New Orleans rapper who signed to Master P’s No Limit records in 2000. Krazy was part of the No Limit roster that included Lil’ Romeo, Choppa and Magic. Krazy joined the 504 Boyz and can be heard on their first album “Ballers”. Fans quickly noticed that the MC sounded eerily similar to the deceased west coast rapper.
Tha Realest

Tha Realest not only sounded like 2Pac, but also even looked like him! Look at the image above and you can see just how much he does look like him. Suge signed Tha Realest kind of as a 2pac replacement, but without the fanfare and without the master skill level that 2Pac had. He performed on a bunch of Death Row Records tracks and even dissed Biggie after his death and Dr. Dre. He was exactly the type of rapper that Suge at the time was looking for. Something interesting to note about Tha Realist: back in 2002 The Realest had done a few tracks pretending to be 2Pac, and the internet went wild assuming he was alive.
Blac Haze

And here is another guy who sounded so much like 2Pac that people thought he was actually him: Blac Haze. Once Blac Haze released his album, the old internet rap boards would chatter that Pac had evaded his enemies and came back to surprise everyone with the Res-Sa-Rec-Shun album. If you go back and listen to the album, not only does Blac Haze sound like 2Pac, but he also has his flow mastered. Interestingly enough, after all the hype that Blac Haze was able to create, he only released one more rap album in 2002, and was never heard from in the music business again.
Mac Thug

We included this one, because Mac Thug did release a song back in 2004 that sounded like 2Pac. Unfortunately, other than that one song, we couldn’t find any more songs by him or any other information at all. We couldn’t even find an image of what he looked like, so instead we included a picture of 2Pac instead. Below is his single 2Pac sound alike track.

Ja Rule

There was a time, like around 2001, that Ja Rule actually thought that he was the next coming of 2Pac. He tried rapping like 2Pac, took on acting roles like 2Pac did, tried emulating his style and swag, teamed up with Pac’s associates and was even able to get an old 2Pac verse cleared for his album. In fact, Ja Rule was acting so much like 2Pac back then, that disses were made towards him saying that he was not Pac. According to Ja Rule, when he met 2Pac’s old boss Suge Knight, that Knight was moved to tears because Ja Rule was so similar to the late great rapper.
DMX

If you look back at old internet rap articles or even magazine articles, DMX was being compared to 2Pac as far back as 1998. X had just released his debut album, and fans around the world became obsessed with the Yonkers MC. After 2Pac and Biggie died, for a while there seemed to be a big void to fill as rap’s premier artist. Jay-Z had started making some noise (although not on an international level), Eminem had just started rapping with Dr. Dre and he was only getting started, and Snoop was at the time, rapping with No Limit Records and had become less famous as he once was. DMX was poised to fill that void. Although DMX didn’t exact have a voice similar to 2Pac’s, fans compared him to the late rapper because of his raw energy and superstar appeal.
Mr. G Reality

Have you ever wondered what a Christian rapper that sounded like 2Pac would be? Well, enter Mr. G Reality. So, who exactly is Mr. G Reality? Mr. G Reality is a Chicago Christian MC who has been releasing albums since 1999. Even cooler is the fact that some of the Outlawz have performed with him as well. Go and have a listen, he’s actually pretty decent.
Kasinova

So Kasinova is the newest rapper that fans claims is actually 2Pac. First was Tha Realest, then it was Blac Haze and most recently it’s been Kasinova. Soooo lets get something out of the way, none of those rappers are actually 2Pac. And even though Kasinova does sound like 2Pac, named himself Kasinova Tha Don and has a similar background to 2Pac, Kasinova is not really 2Pac. Even with all that said, some fans would still like to believe that Kasinova is him. In fact, so many message board topics and subreddits were made on the issue, that Kasinova even got articles in Intouch Weekley and The Mirror.
Z-Ro

Now here is a guy that on the surface may not be someone that jumps out at you as a 2Pac soundalike, but if you really listen closely, does sound like 2Pac. For those of you who have never heard of this guy (which we hope are only a handful) Z-Ro is a legendary Houston rapper who has been on the scene since the mid-1990s. If you go back and listen to some his early 2000 albums, you can definitely at times here 2Pac’s sound. Which is not so surprising, as Z-Ro has said that 2Pac was one of his main influences in the music business.
